Resolved Question: I am trying to find the title of a movie that I saw when I was young....?

...Could be in the mid 50's. I only remember a short I only remember a short scene, but it has left a lasting impression with me. It was probably an adventure type movie. A man trying to escape from either natives or ? He tries to find refuge in a hut or run down building, slams the old door shut, slumps to the ground behind the door, peers through the keyhole or a hole in the door see's his adversaries still pursuing him. Reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out his last bullet. Put's it into the keyhole or hole in the door. picks up a rock or broken brick beside him and hits the bullet.
